The goal is to learn basic compositing technique in Nuke!
I decided to create an mockup ad for Ahmad Tea, celebrating their tea collaboration with the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, location in London, UK.

LET'S DIVE INTO THE PROCESS!
I was able to spent the last bit of 2024 in London and visited the Kew Gardens with my family for their Christmas light show!
We ended up purchasing some tea products from the garden and
they are SO GOOD. (I love tea)
So... I decided to make a little ad to celebrate this amazing tea blend!
PROCESS
The raw footage is shot with a DSLR camera.
I had a lot of fun to set up the scene:D
NOW TO THE ANIMATION...
It was very fun to illustrate the garden on Procreate.
After creating the illustrated assets, I imported everything into After Effects for color correction, animation and create a cel animation effect within AE.
COMPOSITING
Learning Nuke was a rollercoaster, but it turned out super fun! I learned how to build a (working) Nuke tree, tracking, rotoscoping. Painting all the shadows and highlights are tedious but therapeutic for some reason...?
